Matthew Morrison to Launch Summer Tour June 18; Cover Art for CD Released

Glee star and Broadway veteran Matthew Morrison will embark upon a summer 2011 tour to promote his new album from Mercury Records. The cover art for his CD has also been released.

The tour will feature songs from his album along with many of the Glee fan favorites. It will launch at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis on Saturday, June 18, and Morrison will play a New York City engagement at the Beacon Theatre on Friday, July 1.

Additional stops will include St. Louis, MO (June 19), Rosemont, IL (June 21), Columbus, OH (June 22), Rosemont, IL (June 21), Detroit, MI (June 23), Philadelphia, PA (June 27), Newark, NJ (June 28), Boston, MA (June 29), Atlantic City, NJ (July 2), Washington DC (July 6), Greensboro, NC (July 7), Duluth, GA (July 8), Tampa, FL (July 10), Orlando, FL (July 11), Boca Raton, FL (July 13), Jacksonville, FL (July 14), Grand Prairie, TX (July 16), Austin, TX (July 17), Phoenix, AZ (July 19), San Diego, CA (July 20), and Los Angeles, CA (July 23).

In conjunction with the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, regional glee clubs will have the chance to compete for the ‘opening act’ performance slot. Entries can be submitted here.
