Cathy Rigby Is Peter Pan Tour to Open September 2011; YouTube Casting Call Announced

Tony Award-nominee Cathy Rigby will once again play Peter Pan in the new touring production of Cathy Rigby Is Peter Pan, which will begin at the Hershey Theatre in Hershey, Pennsylvania, August 24 – 28, prior to the official opening engagement at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, in Vienna, Virginia, September 1-4.

In conjunction with the tour, producer Tom McCoy has announced a YouTube casting call, with video auditions accepted for the non-dance roles of Wendy, John, Michael and Smee. Callbacks will be held in Los Angeles in May, and require a live presence of those who are auditioning.

In addition, the YouTube video with the most views will win four tickets to see Peter Pan at Madison Square Garden (where the production will play during the 2011 Holidays), a backstage meet and greet with Cathy Rigby, and a once in a lifetime opportunity to fly with Rigby across the stage.
