Aradhana Tiwari’s The Way of the Cards Delays Run Until April

Aradhana Tiwari’s The Way of the Cards will now run April 27-May 6 in Mandell Theatre at Lowndes Shakespeare Center. The play, which was originally to take place March 9-18, will be directed by the playwright. A press statement declares that the delay is “due to unforeseen health circumstances and the overall desire to keep The Way of The Cards team together.”

The story is structured around a single hand of Texas Hold ’em and focuses on Tip and his mother “Sass” Arlington, who was once the “First Lady Of The Vegas Strip.”

The cast features Beth Marshall (Sass Arlington), Olivia Richardson (Tally Arlington), Anthony Pyatt Jr. (Tip Arlington), and Gabe Patrick (Lucky Arlington).

The design team will include Amy Hadley (lighting design), Tom Mangieri (set design), and John Valines (sound design).
