Hans Altwies, Mike Daisey, Charles Leggett, Troy Fischnaller, et al. Set for Seattle Rep Season

Seattle Repertory Theatre has announced initial casting and creative team information for several of the shows in its 2010-2011 season.

Hans Altwies, Denis Arndt, Bhama Roget, and Amy Thone will star in Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage (October 1-24). Wilson Milam will direct the play which features scenic design by Eugene Lee, costumes by Deb Trout, lighting by Geoff Korf, and sound by Matt Starritt.

Allison Narver directs Edward Albee’s Three Tall Women (October 22-November 28), featuring Eric Ankrim, Suzanne Bouchard, Megan Cole, and Alexandra Tavares. The design team will include Matthew Smucker (set), Melanie Taylor Burgess (costumes), Allen Hahn (lighting), and Paul James Prendergast (sound/composer).

Brian Friel’s Dancing at Lughnasa (November 12-December 5) will be directed by Sheila Daniels, and feature Cheyenne Casebier, Troy Fischnaller, Ben Harris, Gretchen Krich, Todd Jefferson Moore, Linda K. Morris, Mari Nelson, and Elizabeth Raetz. The creative team will include scenic designer Etta Lilienthal, lighting designer LB Morse, and sound designer/composer Paul James Prendergast.

Renata Friedman will be featured in The K of D, an urban legend (January 14-February 20), by Laura Schellhardt, directed by Braden Abraham. Braden Abraham & LB Morse will serve as scenic designers, with costumes by Denise Damico, lighting by Robert Aguilar, and sound by Matt Starritt.

Juliette Carrillo will direct Tarell McCraney’s The Brothers Size (February 4-27), with cast and designers to be announced.

Seán G. Griffin, Charles Leggett, Troy Fischnaller, and Seanjohn Walsh will star in John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men (March 18-April 10). The production will be directed by Jerry Manning with the creative team including Jennifer Zeyl (set), Deb Trout (costumes), Robert Aguilar (lighting), and Robertson Witmer (sound).

Cheyenne Casebier and Hans Altwies will lead the cast of Melissa James Gibson’s This (April 8-May 15), directed by Braden Abraham and featuring scenic and lighting design by LB Morse.

The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs (April 22-May 22), is created and performed by Mike Daisey, and directed by Jean-Michele Gregory. Designers are to be announced.
