5th Avenue Theatre to Present Return Engagement of Les Misérables

The 5th Avenue Theatre is set to present a return engagement of Les Misérables, June 27-July 7.

During its previous run at The 5th Avenue Theatre, producer Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Les Misérables broke box office records, filling the theater to 99.01% capacity.

Les Misérables has music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer from the original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, additional material by James Fenton, and original adaptation by Trevor Nunn and John Caird.

The new production is directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell, designed by Matt Kinley (who was inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo) with costumes by Andreane Neofitou and additional costumes by Christine Rowlands, lighting by Paule Constable, sound by Mick Potter, musical staging by Michael Ashcroft and projections by Fifty-Nine Productions.
