5th Avenue Theatre Announces Casting for Oklahoma!

5th Avenue Theatre has announced casting for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, to run February 3 – March 4. Peter Rothstein will direct the production, which will have choreography by Donald Byrd and music direction by Ian Eisendrath.

The company will feature Eric Ankrim (Curly), Alexandra Zorn (Laurey), Kyle Scatliffe (Jud Fry), Anne Allgood (Aunt Eller), Kirsten deLohr Helland (Ado Annie), Matt Owen (Will Parker), Daniel C. Levine (Ali Hakim), Fitzpatrick (Andrew Carnes), and David Pichette (Ike Skidmore).

The ensemble will include Blaine Boyd, Jared Michael Brown, Jeanette D’Armand, Sarah Rose Davis, Kevin Douglass, Mary Jo Dugaw, Eric Esteb, Kassandra Haddock, Mallory King, Jonathan Paul Lee, Sonya Meyer, Christie Murphy, Daniel Oakden, Ben Sasnett, and Carolyn Willems Van Dijk, with Nicholas Hayes, Cameron Washington, and DeChé Washington performing in the children’s ensemble.

In addition, the production will feature Josh Spell and Kara Walsh as the dream ballet Curly and Laurey, and they will be joined by members of Byrd’s Spectrum Dance Theatre: Jeraboam Bozeman, Ty Alexander Cheng, Derek Crescenti, Jade Solomon Curtis, Donald Jones Jr., Vincent Michael Lopez, Amber Nicole Mayberry, Shadou Mintrone, Kate Monthy, and Briley Neugebauer.

The creative team will be comprised of scenic designer Matthew Smucker, costume designer Lynda L. Salsbury, lighting designer Tom Sturge, and sound designer Ken Travis.
