Tony Award winner Carol Channing will give a preview of her new gospel CD, For Heaven's Sake, at a special concert at the Altadena Community Church at 7pm on Sunday, September 6.

As previously reported, Channing will perform her show Carol Channing and Friends at August 31 at the Sacramento Music Circus. She will be joined by actress Carole Cook and singer Joyce Aimee, while JoAnne Worley will be on hand to emcee the show. Channing will offer memories and humorous stories and sings several of her signature tunes, including "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend," " Little Girl From Little Rock" and, "Hello, Dolly!"
