Robert Beltran, Drew Cortese, Rachel Ticotin, et al. Set for A.C.T.’s Boleros for the Disenchanted

Full cast and creative team have been announced for American Conservatory Theater’s production of Jose Rivera’s Boleros for the Disenchanted, to run May 7-31. The production, which will open officially on May 13, will be directed by Carey Perloff.

The play looks at one couple’s relationship from its beginning in Puerto Rico to its later years in Alabama. Rivera’s other plays include Sueno, Cloud Tectonics, and References to Salvador Dal Make Me Hot, and he received an Oscar nomination for the screenplay of The Motorcycle Diaries.

The cast will feature Robert Beltran, Drew Cortese, Lela Loren, Dion Mucciato, Rachel Ticotin, and Michele Vazquez. The creative team includes Ralph Funicello (sets), Sandra Woodall (costumes), Nancy Scherter (lighting), and Fabian Obispo (sound and music composition).
