The first will be Mythbuster: Behind the Myths, which will be offered as a one-night-only performance on January 8 at the Golden Gate Theatre. The show will feature Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, co-hosts of the Emmy-nominated series of the same name, in an evening of on-stage experiments, audience participation, video and behind-the-scenes stories.

Other special engagements in the 2012 SHN season will be an engagement of Mamma Mia!, to run February 21 - March 4; and Monty Python's Spamalot, to run April 10-22, both at the Orpheum Theatre.

These productions will join the organization's previously announced lineup of offerings, such as Bring It On: The Musical and The Caretaker with Jonathan Price.
