James Carpenter, Erika Chong Shuch, and More to Join Michael Winters in Cal Shakes’ The Tempest
Full casting has been announced for California Shakespeare Theatre’s upcoming production of The Tempest, to run May 30 through June 24 under the direction of Jonathan Moscone.
The ensemble of six actors and three dancers will be led by the
previously announced Michael Winters as Prospero and Stephano, and also feature Erika Chong Shuch as Ariel, James Carpenter as King Alonso, Catherine Castellanos as Caliban and Antonio, Emily Kitchens as Miranda and Sebastian, Nicholas Pelczar as Ferdinand and Trinculo, and Melanie Elms, Travis Santell Rowland, and Aaron Moreland as island sprites.
The creative team will include Emily Greene (scenic design), Anna Oliver (costume design), Gabe Maxson (lighting design), andCliff Caruthers (sound design).
