Magic Theatre Cancels Mistakes Were Made, Revises 2009 Schedule

The Magic Theatre has canceled its previously announced spring production of Craig Wright’s Mistakes Were Made, due to the theater’s recent financial troubles. Although it surpassed its emergency fundraising goal as previously reported, the theater needed to make adjustments to the current season. The theater’s website reports that it plans to present Wright’s play next season.

The final two productions this season will now be Lloyd Suh’s American Hwangup (April 4-May 3), directed by Trip Cullman and Theresa Rebeck’s Mauritius (May 30-June 28), directed by Loretta Greco.
