Domenique Lozano, Sharon Lockwood, Melissa Smith, et al. Set for A.C.T.’s Vagina Monologues Benefits

American Conservatory Theater has announced casting for two benefit performances of Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues, to be offered on Sunday, February 13 at 5:30pm and Monday, February 14 at 9:30pm. Proceeds from the events will be donated to V-Day 2011 (Spotlight on Women and Girls of Haiti) and La Casa de les Madres women’s shelter in San Francisco.

Developed from interviews, the play is a series of monologues that focus on womens’ sense of self and sexuality. Scheduled to appear in one or both of the performances are Melissa Smith, Domenique Lozano, Sharon Lockwood, Delia MacDougall Beatrice Basso, Dora Daniels, Hilary Davis, Rebecca Nestle, Shinelle Azoroh, Victoria Barabas, Rebekah Brockman, Stephanie DeMott, Marisa Duchowny, Christina Elmore, Jenna Johnson, Jessica Kitchens, Margaret Rastetter, Courtney Thomas, Ashley Wickett, Omozé Idehenre, Emily Kitchens, Cindy Goldfield, Barbara Oliver, Meryl Shaw, Jean Wilcox, and Jill Walmsley Zager.
