The La Jolla Playhouse will present the Les Freres Corbusier’s production of Hoover Comes Alive by Sean Cunningham, with songs by Michael Friedman, and directed by Alex Timbers, September 8-13.

After stewing for 70 years in political disgrace (and presumed death), Herbert Hoover is taking the stage one last time — to reclaim his legacy and save America in the process.

The cast features Damian Baldet, Jim Mooney, Marshel Adams, Maren Bush, Ross Crain, and Patrick Riley. The creative team includes Cris O’Bryon (music director/conductor), Kristin Ellert (sets); Paloma Young (costumes), Stephen Sakowski (lighting), Toby Algya (sound), and Jake Pinholster (projections).
