Robert Cuccioli, Kevin Gray, Doug Kreeger, Elizabeth Stanley, Stephanie Umoh et al. to Perform at Pittsburgh CLO

Casting has been announced for various productions that will play the Pittsburgh CLO, at Benedum Center, during the summer months.

Kevin Gray will star in the title roles of the Frank Wildhorn-Leslie Bricusse musical
Jekyll & Hyde (June 14-26), to be directed by the show’s original Broadway star, Robert Cuccioli, and choreographed by Tony Stevens. The cast will also feature George Dvorsky (Utterson), Tim Hartman (Sir Danvers), Suzanne Ishee (Lady Beaconsfield/Nellie), Brynn O’Malley (Emma), and Elizabeth Stanley (Lucy).

Cucciioli will also star as Captain von Trapp in James Brennan’s production of The Sound of Music (July 19-31), choreographed by Mark Esposito. The cast will also feature Jennifer Hope Wills (Maria), Jim Brochu (Max Detweiler), Donna English (Elsa Schraeder), Kirsten Lynn Hoover (Liesel), Lisa Howard (Mother Abbess), Jeff Howell (Herr Zeller), Gene Saraceni (Franz), Terry Wickline (Frau Schmidt), and Aaron Young (Rolph).

Jesus Christ Superstar (August 2-14) will star Doug Kreeger in the title role, with Billy Porter as Judas and Cuccioli as Pontius Pilate. The cast will also feature Will Blum (King Herod), Jeff Howell (Annas), and Stephanie Umoh (Mary Magdeline). Charles Repole will direct, with choreography by Liza Gennaro.

In addition, the national tour of 9 to 5 will be presented May 31-June 5, directed and choreographed by Jeff Calhoun. The cast is headed by Dee Hoty (Violet Newstead), Diana DeGarmo (Doralee Rhodes), Mamie Parris (Judy Bernly), and Joseph Mahowald (Franklin Hart, Jr.). The season will also include Love Changes Everything: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber (July 8-14), with casting to be announced.
