Walnut Street Theatre for Kids Announces Cast for A Christmas Carol

Walnut Street Theatre for Kids has announced casting for its 2011 production of A Christmas Carol, to run December 3-20 on the Walnut’s Mainstage. Jennie Eisenhower will direct.

The hour-long musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ timeless tale has become a celebrated holiday tradition for many Philadelphia-area families.

Returning to the role of Ebenezer Scrooge for a fourth year is Benjamin Lovell. The cast will also include Christopher T. McGinnis, Will Harrell, Matthew Mastornardi, Tara Tagliaferro, Zoi Gianneas, Tommy van Dean, Danielle Agan, Gregory Bradbury, Gianna Ernst, Andrew Goren, Sammi Zindel, and Brandon O’Rourke, along with WST Acting Apprentices Dominic Santos, Samantha Joy Pearlman, Nate Golden, and Lauren Fitzgerald.

The creative team will include Michael Borton (musical/vocal direction), Samuel Reyes (choreography), Glen Sears (set design), Mark Grady (lighting design), Jillian Keys and Amanda Wolff (costume design), Katherine Walters (sound design), and Lauren Tracy (stage manager).
