Emmy nominee Steve Burns — perhaps best known as the original host of the hit children’s TV series, Blue’s Clues — will play Dromio of Syracuse in Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival’s The Comedy of Errors, to run in the Labuda Center’s Schubert Theatre at DeSales University, June 22-July 17, with an opening on June 24. Russell Treyz will direct.

In Shakespeare’s comedy, two sets of long-lost twins are loose in the same town, and mistaken identities make for hilarious complications.

The cast will also feature Chris Faith as Dromio of Ephesus, Ian Bedford as Antipholus of Syracuse, Thomas Matthew Kelley as Antipholus of Ephesus, Carl N. Wallnau as Egeon, Eleanor Handley as Adriana, Lauren Orkus as Luciana, and Anne Lewis as the abbess Emelia.

The production will feature scenic design by Bob Phillips, lighting design by Thom Weaver, costume design by Marla Jurglanis, sound design by Matthew Given, and wig and make-up design by Michael Ferguson.
