Emily Bridges Replaces Thora Birch in Off-Broadway’s Dracula

Emily Bridges has replaced Thora Birch as Lucy Seward in the Off-Broadway revival of of Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston’s classic adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Previews for the production at the Little Shubert Theatre begin tonight, December 14, with an opening set for January 5. Paul Alexander has directed the production.

Press notes state that Birch “has been released from the cast.” Bridges was previously playing the part of Miss Wells in the production, as well as understudying the role of Lucy. The part of Miss Wells will now be taken over by Katharine Luckinbill.

The previously reported cast also features Michel Altieri in the title role, with George Hearn, Timothy Jerome, Jake Silbermann, John Buffalo Mailer, and Rob O’Hare.

The production features scenic design by Dana Kenn, lighting design by Brian Nason, and costume design by Willa Kim.
