Full casting has been announced for Steven Levenson's The Language of Trees, which will be presented as the second production of The Roundabout Theatre Company's Underground series, October 4-December 14. The production, which will open officially on October 29, will be directed by Alex Timbers.

When an American translator is sent into a U.S. war zone in the Middle East, a friendly neighbor volunteers to help out his wife and young son. As events abroad spiral out of control, the lives of all the characters are turned upside down.

The cast will feature Maggie Burke as "Kay Danley," Natalie Gold as "Loretta Trumble-Pinkerstone," Michael Hayden as "Denton Pinkerstone," Gio Perez as "Eben Trumble-Pinkerstone," and Michael Warner as "Bill Clinton." The design team will include Cameron Anderson (sets), Emily Rebholz (costumes), David Weiner (lights) and M.L. Dogg (sound).

Burke's Broadway credits include 45 Seconds from Broadway, Twilight of the Golds, Café Crown, and Brighton Beach Memoirs. Gold's recent New York credits include The Fever Chart, Howard Katz, and Festen. Hayden received a Tony Award nomination for Judgment at Nuremberg, and additional Broadway credits include Cabaret, Festen, Carousel, Henry IV, and Enchanted April. Perez recently appeared in the EST Marathon's October/November and Amazons & Their Men. Warner received an Edinburgh Fringe First award as part of the ensemble of Boy Steals Train.

Levenson's other plays include Girls Day and Almost Stuck. Timbers is the artistic director of Les Freres Corbusier. His many directing credits include Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Gutenberg! The Musical, A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant, and Boozy.
