Bradley Dean will return to the role of El Gallo in the Off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks, at the Snapple Theater, beginning Monday, July 25. He replaces Edward Watts, who will play his final performance on July 24.

Dean previously played his role during a 2009 stint in the production. He has appeared on Broadway in Spamalot, Company, Man of La Mancha, Jane Eyre, and most recently as Carl-Magnus opposite Bernadette Peters in the Broadway revival of A Little Night Music.

A modern twist on Romeo and Juliet, the musical is the quintessential story of boy and girl sweethearts who go out into the world and discover that with love comes responsibility, with independence comes danger, and with experience comes joy. The score includes the hit songs “Try To Remember”, “They Were You” and “Soon It’s Gonna Rain.”

The company also includes Bill Bateman, Matt Dengler, MacIntyre Dixon, Tom Flagg, Matt Leisy, Anne Markt, Michael Nostrand, Dan Sharkey, Juliette Trafton, and Charles West.
