Colin Quinn will now perform his new one-man show Long Story Short at Bleecker Street Theatre through September 4.

Famed comedian Jerry Seinfeld has directed the work, in which Quinn comically examines over 2000 years of history, offering satirical takes on the attitudes, appetites and habits that toppled powerful empires.

Quinn is perhaps best known for his work on NBC's Saturday Night Live, where he also served as a writer. Among his other writing credits are In Living Color and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. As a performer, he has been seen in such films as Married to the Mob, A Night at the Roxbury, and Grown-Ups, as well as the forthcoming Booted.
