MCC Theater celebrated the opening of Michael Weller’s new play
Side Effects, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, with a post-performance party at 49 Grove on Sunday, June 19.
Side Effects, directed by David Auburn, stars Joely Richardson and Cotter Smith. The play centers on a couple whose marriage seems picture-perfect but is actually disintegrating.
Guests at the party included Richardson’s mother Vanessa Redgrave and daughter Daisy Bevan, along with Walter Bobbie, Sean Dugan, Penny Fuller, David Greenspan, John Earl Jelks, Molly Ranson, Laila Robbins, Jeff Talbott, and Aaron Tveit.
