Full Cast Announced for Hollinger's Opus at Primary Stages

Michael Hollinger
Opus won Philadelphia's Barrymore Award for Outstanding New Play in 2006. The play is about a world-renowned string quartet whose rehearsal room becomes a pressure cooker as passions rise, personalities clash, and the musicians are forced to tackle the ephemeral nature of their life's work. Hollinger's other works include Tooth and Claw, Red Herring, and Hot Air.
The creative team of the Primary Stage production includes Jim Kronzer (sets), Anne Kennedy (costumes), Justin Townsend (lights), and Jorge Cousineau (sound). Nolen is the co-founder and producing artistic director of the Arden Theatre Company, where Opus had its world premiere; he won a Barrymore Award for his work on the show.
