Mark Blum, Michael Stahl-David, Donna Hanover, Tom Lipinski and Liz Stauber will be featured in the world-premiere of Christopher Shinn’s Picked, at the Vineyard Theatre with previews beginning April 6 in anticipation of an April 20 opening. As previously reported, Michael Wilson will direct.
The play concerns a young actor (Stahl-David ) who prepares for his life to change when a legendary director casts him as the lead in a big-budget Hollywood movie.
Shinn’s other plays include Dying City, a finalist for the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, along with Four, Other People, The Coming World, and Now or Later.
