Original cast members Rosie O’Donnell and Natasha Lyonne will return to the Off-Broadway production of Love, Loss and What I Wore, now at the Westside Theatre in March. Nora and Delia Ephron’s adaptation of Ilene Beckerman’s 1995 book about clothes and the memories they trigger is directed by Karen Carpenter, and features a series of five-person casts that will play in four-week cycles.

The duo will join previously announced cast members Didi Conn and Fran Drescher. The show’s current cast, including Katie Finneran, Michele Lee, Debra Monk, Tracee Ellis Ross and Casey Wilson, began performances last night, and will perform through January 31. The previously announced cast beginning February 3 will include Janeane Garofalo, Carol Kane, June Diane Raphael, and Caroline Rhea.

The design team includes Jo Winiarski (scenic design), Bobby Frederick Tilley II (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Walter Trarbach (sound design) and Maria Verel (make-up design).

A portion of the production’s proceeds will benefit Dress for Success, a charity that provides work clothing and job support for low-income women. Audience members are invited to donate their gently-used purses and other accessories in the theatre lobby.
