Annie Golden, Peter Scolari, AJ Shively et al. Set for The Nutcracker and I

Aidan Benavides, Haley Carlucci, Nick Dalton, Annie Golden, Peter Scolari, AJ Shively, and Ed Staudenmayer will perform in George Street Playhouse’s world premiere holiday farce, The Nutcracker and I, to be presented November 29-December 31. David Saint will direct.

In this holiday spoof, Forbidden Broadway‘s Gerard Alessandrini and Emmy award-winning writer Peter Brash have set the beloved holiday classic on its ear, with a hilarious take on the ballet, utilizing the music from the original Tchaikovsky score with a new story and original lyrics.

The creative team will include choreographer Joseph Simeone, music director and arranger David Caldwell, scenic designer James Youmans, costume designer David Murin, lighting designer Joe Saint, sound designer Dan Moses Schreier and projection designer Steve Channon.
