Dominic Chianese to Star in A Chamber Christmas Carol at Morgan Library & Museum

Stage and screen star Dominic Chianese will star as Scrooge in a concert version of A Chamber Christmas Carol at Morgan Library & Museum, on Friday, December 17 at 7:30pm. Casey Biggs will direct.

Based on and using text from Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, the piece features music by Ray Leslee. The event will coincide with the museum’s exhibition on Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol.

The cast will also include Nicholas Barasch, Mark Cajigao, Eleanor Handley, and John Jellison. Musicians will include Jack Bashkow, Marshall Coid, Dave Dunaway, Marc Irwin, and Richard Marriott.

Chianese, best known for his portrayal of Uncle Junior on The Sopranos, was most recently seen Off-Broadway in Still Life. His Broadway credits include revivals of The Rose Tattoo and Requiem for a Heavyweight and the original production of David Mamet’s The Water Engine.
