On Tuesday, November 30, Chita Rivera, Joanna Lumley, Ana Gasteyer, Kelly Rutherford, and Star Jones were among the celebrities that joined Duracell at the Duracell Mobile Smart Power Lab to provide the first pedal in this year’s Duracell Smart Power Lab campaign.
The energy captured by the Power Rovers at the two Duracell Smart Power Lab locations will be used to to power the 2011 numerals in Times Square on New Year’s Eve. Anyone who would like to contribute is invited to hop on one of the Power Rovers, which convert pedal power into usable energy that will be saved for the New Year’s Celebration.
The Duracell Smart Power Lab, located at 1540 Broadway in Times Square between 45th and 46th Streets are open now through December 31 from 10 am to 9 pm, Sunday through Wednesday, and 10 am to 11 pm, Thursday through Saturday. The Mobile Smart Power Lab will be traveling to various locations in the city.
