Kim Cattrall Wins Gemini Award; Glee‘s Cory Monteith to Host Broadcast Gala

Stage and screen star Kim Cattrall has won the Gemini Award, which honors the best English-language television in Canada, for her work on the animated series Producing Parker.

Winners of the awards were announced on November 2 and 3, and a TV Broadcast Gala, hosted by Glee star Cory Monteith will take place on Saturday, November 13th at the
historic Winter Garden Theatre and will be broadcast on Global and Showcase at 8pm.

The mini-series Guns, which starred Colm Feore, took home five awards. Other winners included Kids in the Hall: Death Comes to Town, The Tudors, DeGrassi: The Next Generation, and Nureyev.

Cattrall recently appeared on stage in Private Lives and is best known for her role as Samantha Jones in Sex and the City.
