Farah Alvin, Ryan Duncan, Curtis Holbrook, Lindsay Mendez, Phoebe Strole et al. Set for 29 at Joe’s Pub

An updated cast list has been announced for 29, a pop-rock song cycle with music and lyrics by Gaby Alter and book and additional lyrics by Tommy Newman. The concert will be presented at Joe’s Pub on Monday, November 8, at 10pm.

In the piece, characters face defining moments of adulthood: from finding jobs and roommates, to an unexpected pregnancy, a parent’s illness and falling in and out of love. As they head out of their twenties, the characters look back at a decade of change and loss, and reach to connect with each other and their real selves.

The cast will now include Farah Alvin, Molly Hager, Curtis Holbrook, Lauren Marcus, Lindsay Mendez, Patti Murin, Jared Weiss, Jason “SweetTooth” Williams, Alex Brightman, Blake Daniel, Phoebe Strole, Betsy Wolfe, Ryan Duncan, Piper Goodeve, Hannah Whitney, and Nick Cartell.

The band will feature Alter on piano, with Alec Berlin (Guitar), Danny Stone (Bass), Allison Seidner (Cello) and Jeremy Yaddaw (Drums).
