The original cast and writers of the musical Glory Days -- which closed on Broadway on its opening night -- will come together for a record release reunion concert at Joe's Pub on Monday, November 23 at 11:30pm.

The musical by composer-lyricist Nick Blaemire and book writer James Gardiner is about four high school buddies reuniting for the first time about a year after graduation. The Broadway cast -- all of whom reprised their roles from the show's debut at Arlington, VA's Signature Theatre -- included Steven Booth, Andrew C. Call, Adam Halpin, and Jesse JP Johnson.

Upcoming performers at Joe's Pub also include Capathia Jenkins and Louis Rosen (November 8, 14, 21 and 22), Lauren Ambrose (November 15), Carly Jibson (November 16), Colman Domingo (November 30), Ute Lemper (December 10-13), Sierra Boggess, Andy Karl, Tyler Maynard, Lindsay Mendez, Orfeh, Tory Ross, Anya Singleton and Sally Wilfert in New York City Christmas (December 14), and Sandra Bernhard (December 26-31).

City Center Encores! production of the classic George and Ira Gershwin is pleasingly zany, but lacks a little heart.
