Stage and screen star Saana Lathan has joined the cast of Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming film Contagion, according to Variety.
The film, about a group of doctors forced to deal with an outbreak of a deadly disease, is penned by Scott Burns.
Contagion is set to star Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Marion Cottilard, Laurence Fishburne, Bryan Cranston, and Jennifer Ehle.
Soderbergh won the Oscar for Traffic. His other films include The Good German, Erin Brockovich, and Sex, Lies & Videotape.
