Kurt Braunohler, Reggie Walls to Join Kristen Schaal at NYU Skirball Center

Kurt Braunohler and Reggie Walls will join Kristen Schaal for Comedy With Kristen Schaal & Friends, to be held at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts at New York University on Thursday, October 21 at 8pm.

Schaal is best known for her role as stalker-fan Mel in HBO’s Flight of the Conchords, as well as The Daily Show‘s Senior Women’s Issues Commentator. Her other television and film credits include Norbit, Ugly Betty, How I Met Your Mother, Mad Men, Toy Story 3, Shrek Forever After, and Dinner for Schmucks. Schaal has also co-authored a book with Daily Show writer, Rich Blomquist, entitled The Sexy Book of Sexy Sex.

In related news, former Luna band members Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips will perform 13 Most Beautiful…Songs for Andy Warhol’s Screen Tests at the Skirball on Friday, October 22 at 8pm. The multimedia concert will feature both original and cover songs as a soundtrack for 13 of Warhol’s silent film portraits.
