Denis Butkus, Maria Dizzia, Sarah Paulson, Alice Playten, et al. Set for Rattlestick’s theaterjam

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater’s theaterjam, an all-day festival of short pieces, will be presented on Sunday, October 17.

Works will include Wonderful, written and directed by Mary Laws and performed by Therese Barbato, Aysan Celik, Julie Kline, Keith Reddin, Bethany Salminen and Michael Stablein (2pm); First Feel, written and performed by Peter Coston and directed by Brian Roff (2:30pm); Flaca Loves Bone written and directed by Pedro Pascal (3pm); Dread written and performed by Pamela S. Jackson (3:30pm); Rear Exit written by Mando Alvarado, and performed by Alvarado and Jorge Cordova (4pm); girl in window written by Florencia Lozano, directed by Pedro Pascal (4:30pm); and Obsessed with You written by Jess Brickman, directed by Evan Cabnet, performed by Erin Felgar and Matt Stadelmann (5pm).

Following a dinner break, the festival will continue with The Game written by Julissa Contreras, directed by Jenna Worsham, performed by Kevin Mannering and Cesar Rosado (6:30pm); Three Guys and a Brenda written by Adam Bock, directed by Lisa Steindler (7pm); Jeff Beaver written by Stephen Belber, performed by Denis Butkus (7:15pm); RAVE written by Dael Orlandersmith, directed by Chay Yew, performed by Jack Gwaltney (7:30pm); The Tsouris of Mary written by David Grimm, directed by David Pittu, performed by Polly Lee and Alice Playten (8pm); a selection of monologues by Lucy Thurber, performed by Denis Butkus, Samantha Soule, and more; and Y2K, written by Craig Lucas, directed by Pedro Pascal, performed by Maria Dizzia and Sarah Paulson.

There is a $10 suggested admission charge, with patrons free to come and go as they please. All proceeds will benefit Rattlestick’s 2010-2011 season.
