Chita Rivera, Charlie Rose, Tom Wopat, et al. Set for Best Of Israel / Best Of New York Gala

Tom Wopat and Rodney Hicks are set to perform at American Friends of Rabin Medical Center Best Of Israel / Best Of New York gala to be held on November 1 in the Empire Ballroom at the Grand Hyatt New York. Charlie Rose will host the event which will also feature an appearance by Tony Award winner Chita Rivera.

Wopat and Hicks will be performing a tribute to honor Broadway producers Barry and Fran Weissler, who will be receiving the Award of Excellence. Peter Riguardi, president of Jones Lang LaSalle, will also be honored at the event, which will feature additional performances by violinist Shlomo Mintz and the band Hadag Nachash.

The event will also include a dinner with a dual menu created by guest chefs Todd English and Mika Sharon, and there will be a jewelry and fashion show.
