Alison Fraser, Marni Nixon, Jill O’Hara, Tony Roberts, et al. Set for Primary Stages Annual Gala

Alison Fraser, Marni Nixon, Jill O’Hara and Tony Roberts will perform at the annual Primary Stages Gala to be held on November 1 at the Edison Ballroom. Directed by Michael Lavine, the event will raise funds for the theater’s ongoing work.

In addition to the performance, which will include numbers from Guys & Dolls, Hello, Dolly, Mame, My Fair Lady, and Promises, Promises, the event will honor Broadway producer, manager and agent Samuel “Biff” Liff, who will receive the Dedication to New Plays Award, which recognizes an individual’s or group’s contributions to the advancement of new plays. Tributes to Liff’s work are expected to come from Manny Azenberg, Marvin Einhorn, Angela Lansbury and Philip J. Smith.

The benefit will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by dinner and entertainment.
