Stage and screen star Michael Imperioli has joined the cast of the HBO pilot, 40, according to Deadline.com.
The show will focus on four lifelong friends who help each other navigate life at 40. Adrian Pasdar, Ed Burns, Michael Rapaport, and Susan Misner have also been cast in the pilot.
Imperioli is best known for his work on such television show as Detroit 1-8-3 and The Sopranos. His stage credits include Aven U Boys and Chicken.
