Encores! has announced directors for the previously reported three musicals that will comprise its 2010-2011 season at New York City Center.

Kathleen Marshall will direct and choreograph Jule Styne, Betty Comden and Adolph Green’s Bells Are Ringing, which will open the season, running November 18-21.

The second Encores! offering will be Lost in the Stars (February 3-6), to be directed by Gary Griffin. Based on Alan Paton’s novel Cry Beloved Country, the show features music by Kurt Weill and book and lyrics by Maxwell Anderson.

John Doyle will direct Where’s Charley?, featuring a book by George Abbott and music and lyrics by Frank Loesser. The production will close the Encores! 2010-2011 season, running March 17-20.

Music Director Rob Berman will conduct all three musicals. Casting and additional creative team information will be announced at a later date.
