Diane Ciesla, Mark Shanahan to Star in Jeffrey Hatcher’s Mrs. Mannerly

Diane Ciesla and Mark Shanahan will star in Penguin Rep Theatre’s production of Jeffrey Hatcher’s Mrs. Mannerly, to run October 1-24 in Stony Point, New York. Joe Brancato will direct.

In this new comedy, the title character is a demanding teacher with a mysterious past, and no student in her 36 years of classes has achieved a perfect score or uncovered the mystery. But it’s 1967 and “the times they are a’changing”. Young Jeffrey and his colorful classmates vie to be the first.

Designers will include Robert Monaco (sets), Patricia E. Doherty (costumes), Christopher Weston (lights), and Colin Whitely (sound).
