Tony Award winner Daisy Eagan will be part of the cast for the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) production of Ghostlight, to be presented at the Signature Theatre, September 26-October 9. The musical has a book, music and lyrics by Matthew Martin and Tim Realbuto, who also serve as the show’s co-directors.

Ghostlight tells the true story of Olive Thomas, a small-town girl who rises to headline alongside Fanny Brice in the Ziegfeld Follies. Seduced by the decadent world of the theater, Olive stumbles into a secret affair, an unfulfilling Hollywood marriage, and a downward spiral into drugs and alcohol.

Rachael Fogle will star as Olive, with Matt Leisy as Olive’s husband, Jack Pickford and Kimberly Faye Greenberg as Fanny Brice. Eagan will play Molly Cook, Olive’s best friend and fellow showgirl. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

The production will feature choreography by Michael Kidney, musical direction by Matt Aument, and scenic and lighting design by David Goldstein.
