Alec Baldwin will host the season premiere of NBC’s Saturday Night Live (SNL), according to published reports. His appearance will mark the 16th time he has hosted the show.
Baldwin has appeared on Broadway in A Streetcar Named Desire, Loot, and Twentieth Century. He received an Academy Award nomination for The Cooler and has won two Emmy Awards for his work on NBC’s 30 Rock. In addition, he has recently finished filming on the film version of the musical Rock of Ages.
