Round two of
New York Musical Theater Festival‘s Next Broadway Sensation, will be held at New World Stages on Sunday, September 20. Kate Shindle will host the event.
This year’s remaining contestants, Nathan Brisby, Lisa Marie, Nkrumah Gatling, Lyle Colby Mackston, Zak Resnick, and Cassie Wooley, will be singing the songs of new theater composers. The winners will proceed to the October 4 finals.
Celebrity judges for the second round will be Donna Lynne Champlin, Alexander Gemigani, and Paul Scott Goodman.
The September 20 event will also offer sneak peeks of upcoming NYMF shows My Illustrious Wasteland and Gay Bride of Frankenstein.
