Sebastian Barry, Desi Moreno-Penson, Megan Riordan to Be Part of 59e59 Season

59E59 Theaters has announced the offerings for its fall season.

Up first will be The Ist Irish Festival, which willl include The Pride of Parnell Street, a two-character drama by the Irish writer Sebastian Barry starring Aidan Kelly and Mary Murray (September 1-October 4), Spinning the Times, an evening of five one-act plays about New York written by Irish playwrights (September 2-20), and Luck, a solo show co-conceived and performed by Megan Riordan and based on her life as the child of a professional gambler (September 23-October 11).

The theater will next present Bobby Lee Franklin’s Good Bobby (October 8-November 8), about the formative years of Robert F. Kennedy, and Desi Moreno-Penson’s thriller Ghost Light (October 14-31), to be followed by the 6th annual Brits Off-Broadway Festival.
