Idina Menzel to Sing in Provincetown, August 19 & 20

Tony Award winner Idina Menzel will perform in concert on August 19 and 20 at the Provincetown Theater in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Showtime is 9pm.

Menzel won the 2004 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her role as Elphaba in Wicked. She will be seen on the big screen later this year in the film version of Rent, recreating her Tony-nominated role of Maureen. (The original production of Rent brought her together with Taye Diggs, whom she would later marry and who is recreating his role of Benny in the film). Menzel's other credits include the Broadway musical Aida, the Off-Broadway musical The Wild Party, and the recently completed film Ask the Dust, starring Colin Farrell and Selma Hayek.
