Eric Roberts to Join CBS’ The Young and the Restless

Actor Eric Roberts, who won a Theatre World Award for the original Broadway production of Burn This is joining the cast of the CBS drama The Young and the Restless on July 12, according to TVGuide.com. He will playing an attorney on the show.

Roberts’ long film career includes his Oscar-nominated role in Runaway Train, as well as Star 80, Nobody’s Fool, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, and The Dark Knight. He most recently starred on NBC’s Heroes and the Starz drama Crash.

The Young and the Restless stars Eric Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott, Jeanne Cooper, Jess Walton, Christian LeBlanc, Michelle Stafford, and Peter Bergman, among many others.
