Laura Benanti and Stockard Channing starred in a one-night only reading of Donald Margulies’ Collected Stories on Monday, May 7 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
The reading, which was directed by Michael Mastro, served as a benefit for Opening Act, a non-profit organization that brings theater programming to ten of New York City’s under-served public high schools.
Collected Stories chronicles the relationship between a renowned author and her rising protégé.
