Grey’s Anatomy star Sandra Oh Joins Nicole Kidman, Dianne Wiest, et al. in Rabbit Hole Film

Additional casting has beeen announced for the big-screen version of David Lindsay-Abaire’s play Rabbit Hole, according to Variety. The film will be directed by John Cameron Mitchell, while Lindsay-Abaire will write the screenplay. No release date has been announced; filming is set to begin in June.


Rabbit Hole concerns a middle-aged couple whose life is destroyed when their young son is killed in a car accident. Oscar winner Nicole Kidman, who plays the leading role, will be joined by Aaron Eckhart, Tammy Blanchard, Dianne Wiest, Sandra Oh, Jon Tenney, Giancarlo Esposito, and Miles Teller in the film.

The play, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, was seen on Broadway in 2006, starring Cynthia Nixon, who won the Tony Award for Best Actress.
