Naked Angels Managing Director John E. Alexander to Depart Company; Assume Position at San Diego’s Diversionary Theatre

John E. Alexander, the current managing director for Naked Angels, will depart the company in mid-July, and will take over the post of Executive Director at San Diego’s Diversionary Theatre. Naked Angels has begun a search for Alexander’s replacement, with current associate producer Renee Blinkwolt assuming the role of Interim Managing Director until a suitable replacement is found.

In a statement, Naked Angels Board Chair, Alyson Brandt said, “During his tenure, John has not only strengthened Naked Angels’ business operations, but has overseen an unprecedented period of growth for the company. We are grateful for his numerous successes here, for guiding the board and the company so confidently, and for helping us secure our even bigger plans for the future. While we are sorry to see him go, we are excited for him as he embarks on this new opportunity on the west coast.”

Naked Angels’ next project is the world premiere production of Zayd Dohrn’s Outside People, which will be presented this fall.
