Laura Careless will star in the dance-theatre group Company XIV’s world premiere presentation of Lover. Muse. Mockingbird. Whore., to play the 303 Bond Street Theatre, April 15-May 8, with an opening on April 17. Austin McCormick will choreograph and direct the piece.
Lover. Muse. Mockingbird. Whore. is a one-woman show that draws inspiration from the female characters present in the works of poet Charles Bukowski. The show contains partial nudity, and no one under 16 will be admitted.
Bukowski’s estate has given Company XIV full permission to use his poetry.
