Paul Dano and real-life girlfriend Zoe Kazan will co-star in the new film He Loves Me, featuring a script by Kazan, according to The Los Angeles Times.

The movie will be directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris and produced by Albert Berger and Ron Yerxa, all of whom performed the same duties on Little Miss Sunshine.

The movie focuses on a young novelist who achieves success early in his career but begins to face struggles. In a bid to overcome writer’s block, he is told to write the woman he thinks will love him — and winds up willing her into existence.

Dano and Kazan co-starred together Off-Broadway in Things We Want. Dano most recently appeared on Broadway in A Free Man of Color. Kazan’s Broadway credits include A Behanding in Spokane, The Seagull, and Come Back Little Sheba, and her Off-Broadway credits include Angels in America, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, and 100 Saints You Should Know.
