Matt Cavenaugh and Jenny Powers’ Gonna Make You Love Me CD to Be Released in March

Broadway veterans Matt Cavenaugh and Jenny Powers, who are husband and wife, have announced the track list for their debut album, Gonna Make You Love Me, which will be released in March. Prior to the release of the CD, samples of the songs will be streamed on the two performers’ websites.

The ten-track recording features covers of songs originally offered up by such artists as Queen, Etta James, Mandy Moore, Joni Mitchell, and Sam Cooke. The selections have been chosen to chart the story of two people searching for and finding love in one another.

Among the numbers on the disc are “Somebody to Love,” “Sunday Kind of Love,” “I Wanna Be With You, “I Think We’re Alone Now,” “You Send Me,” and “The Best is Yet to Come.”
